Description:SHAREOK is the new joint institutional repository shared by the University of Oklahoma Libraries (OU) and Oklahoma State University Libraries (OSU).It serves as the home for the intellectual output of both communities, and will ultimately include digital dissertations, faculty publications, digital special collections, open access publications, open educational resources and much more. the interface is in English and it includes RSS feeds to alert users of new content.

Standardised Preservation Policy

  2. The repository will try to ensure continued readability and accessibility.
    • Items will be migrated to new file formats where necessary.
    • Where possible, software emulations will be provided to access un-migrated formats.
  3. The repository regularly backs up its files according to current best practice.
  4. Items may be removed at the request of the author/copyright holder.
  5. Acceptable reasons for withdrawal include:
    • Journal publishers' rules
    • Proven copyright violation or plagiarism
    • Legal requirements and proven violations

  6. Withdrawn items are not deleted per se, but are removed from public view.
