Description:This site is a catalogue of historical maps, atlases and charts; which contains a few open access items. By and large the majority of the items available on this site are available in metadata forms only, and are held locally as physical objects. Only a very limited number of maps and book plates available openly accessible. Currently only the Schwedische Landesaufnahme maps are all available, and a browser plug-in is required for download before they may be correctly viewed. The site administrators notes that it is hoped to expand on the repository with additional materials in the future. The site interface is available in the German language only and is split into 12 subsections.
